In their further Easter Charity outreach to rural Communities, Faithspiration Initiative has visited Omor in Ayamelum local Government and Mputu in Ogbaru Local Government both in Anambra State during which they floated 5kg rice and cash of #5,000 to each family.

It would be recalled that barely one week ago, Faithspiration family went to Opi Agu in Nsukka and Agbani in Nkanu both in Enugu State and mobbed the two rural Communities with numerous 5kg Rice and cash of #5,000.

Already, in this Easter festival, the Charity Organization has targeted to feed 500 families in various rural Communities of which Omor and Mputu were among.

It was actually another successful journey as Mputu being the first place visited before Omor were already converged en mass and patiently waiting for the arrival of  Faithspiration Initiative group.

Introducing Faithspiration Initiative to Mputu Community, the founder and initiator of the organisation, Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike reminded them that he had lived with them during his Apostolic work as a Seminarian.

He further said, ” We are so glad to be in your midst today. We are members of the Faithspiration family. Our members scattered all over the world. During this Easter, we decided to visit our brothers and sisters living in different communities who are experiencing economic hardship”

“So, not to take away their financial challenges but to show them love because Christianity is all about love. So, we came to show you love. We want you to feel us and we want to feel you. We want to show you that you have brothers and sisters in Onitsha, Awka, Enugu, Lagos, Gambia, Cameroon, Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana every where in the world. If any person is experiencing difficulty, the other person will help”

“The first Charity is the Charity of presence before the Charity of the present. We solicited Rice, Beans, Clothes and money from our members and friends. Some people gave us and we have been going from community to Community. We have gone to Opi Agu in Nsukka and Agbani in Nkanu and we are here in Mputu in Ogbaru. If we finish here, we will move to Omor Ayamelum.”

“We cannot reach out to everybody, but if we reach one or two persons, let them be glad and inspire others. So, wherever you are, remember that some others are experiencing blessings of life while some other people are experiencing economic hardship and that is why we came. We have come to share love and tell you that we love you and we want to hear from you that you love us. But, we will give you Rice and money, “said Fr. George.

In her words of encouragement, the Parish President of Catholic Women Organization ” CWO” SS Peter and Paul Iba Pope Awada, Mrs. Herietha Ozigbo who was among the Faithspiration family urged the Community to be steadfast in worshiping and trusting God in order to enjoy more goodies, even as the Chairman of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church out station Mputu and Mrs. Ebere Olisa gave vote of thanks and prayed God to bless Fr. George and Faithspiration family.

After Mputu Community, the group stopped over to see the old and aging people at Madonna Mercy Village Old People’s Home, Odekpe Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.

On reaching the premises, Fr. George Adimike introduced the group to the founder of the home, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Collins Ojene, explaining to him that the group was on Charity outreach and decided to breeze in to see the old mothers and aging people.

The cleric praised Fr. Ojene who he said has lived in Europe for many years and still has zeal to run the old People’s Home, commended him and prayed to God to bless him abundantly.

Responding, Fr. Ojene expressed joy after Fr. George explained to him his vision by piloting Faithspiration, eulogizing him for the initiative.

He described Fr. George Adimike as his first Son, stating that Fr. George is highly gifted, creative and intelligent adding that he has chosen the best option in life by championing a platform that is solely meant for Charity.

” Make sure you die empty. Do not go back to your creator. Fr. George is highly gifted, creative, and intelligent and an author of books. He has lived in Europe but still has an interest in championing Charity organizations. Thank you Fr. George and keep it up” Fr. Ojene concluded.

However, on arrival at St. Luke’s Catholic Church Amikwu Omor Ayamelum, the Community already gathered in their number including traditionalists who later pledged to be attending Catholic Church after they have collected 5kg Rice and #5,000

Usually, Fr. George introduced the Faithspiration Initiative to them and explained to them that the purpose of visiting them was to share love with them.

He also told them that it is the love of Christ that brought Faithspiration group to their Community, adding that they also came to celebrate Easter to them.

Expressing his delight, the Parish Priest of St. Luke’s Catholic Church Amikwu, Rev. Fr. Johnbosco Onyebuchi Azuaka lauded Faithspiration Initiative for visiting his Parishioners and also gave them food and money, describing Fr. George Adimike as a great Priest who is loved by everyone.
