The Chairman of the Senate Committee, Senator Neda Imasuen, presented the panel’s report during plenary, stating that Senator Natasha was found guilty of all allegations against her. He noted that she failed to appear before the legislative committee for a review of her conduct.
Senators are currently debating the report, with possible amendments to the committee’s recommendations before final adoption.
LEADERSHIP recalls that Senator Natasha was referred to the committee over alleged misconduct following a dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio regarding seating arrangements in the chamber.
The controversy escalated when, days later, Senator Natasha accused Senator Akpabio of sexual harassment, abuse of office, and other misconduct.
