National Coordinator, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Evang. Chinedu Obigwe has advised Chief Chekwas Okorie to stop playing political games in the name of APGA because the authentic members of the party knows their leaders and are answerable to them.
While reacting to the recent statement to Governor Soludo credited to Okorie where he addressed himself as the Board of Trustees Chairman of APGA, Obigwe said Okorie is neither a member of APGA talk more of being a BOT Chairman.
He said Chekwas Okorie has been sounding like a broken record and should be ignored by sane minds even as he noted that Okorie is rather known for political opportunism having switched before now from founding the United Progressive Party (UPP) and later joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said Okorie’s attempt to blackmail Governor Soludo and tarnish his image was a futile effort that became dead on arrival because according to him, blackmailing Governor Soludo is tantamount to pouring water on a stone.
“I will first of all state without mincing words that Chekwas Okorie is not a member of APGA talk more of him being BOT Chairman of APGA.When I read a blackmail press release he issued against Governor Soludo and signed it off as BOT Chairman of APGA, I said who dash monkey banana.
“Nigerians know Okorie’s antecedents since he was ostracized politically by the trio of Victor Umeh, Peter Obi and Odumegwu Ojukwu of blessed memory.
“APGA faithful made it categorically clear that they don’t know the Edozie Njoku that emerged from the blues to be parading himself as APGA national Chairman. Njoku is not even a member of APGA, he is not the national Chairman of the party and can never be.
“He is only using Chekwas Okorie to shed crocodile tears but that will not stop genuine APGA members from standing firmly with Barr Sly Ezeokenwa, the authentic national Chairman of APGA and Governor Soludo, the National Leader of the party” he stated.
