The member representing Enugu North and South federal constituency, Chief Chimobi Atu has said that the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi remains a hero of the struggle to liberate Nigeria.
In an appreciation message posted on his Facebook Wall on Sunday, Atu said that despite the challenges encountered in the process, he was appreciative of the efforts of the Obidient movement in the fight to liberate the nation, adding that he was ever committed to continue with the struggle.
He said: “It has been one year since the people of Enugu North and South Federal Constituency came out like never before to elect me as their representative at the National Assembly.
The 25th day of February 2023 will go down in the annals of history as the day Nigerians demonstrated the willingness to open a new page. All we wanted was a new Nigeria. The unwavering sacrifices made on that day, will never be in vain.
Trust me, I will continue to remain committed to this struggle no matter the challenges it presents. Today, these sacrifices are acknowledged and I am deeply grateful.
Our National Leader, His Excellency Peter Obi, remains the hero of this project. The Obidient movement gave it all the push and God ordained it. Although there are Challenges, progress has been made in several areas. Thank you all.
