The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the the election of Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, confirming him as the legitimate governor of the state.
The apex court in a Friday ruling, dismissed the Appeal by the candidate of the Labour Party, Chijoke Edeoga seeking to nullify Mbah’s election.
The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Research and Publication Joshua Ejeh who confirmed this on his X handle on Monday congratulated Enugu residents for the victory.
Both the tribunal and Appeal Court upheld the declaration of Mbah as the winner of the March 18th Governorship poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
