The Chairman of Abia state Indigenes Forum Anambra State Chapter, Comrade Damian Ogudike has applauded the Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti for his tremendous achievements within 100 days in office.
Comrade Ogudike made the disclosure in Onitsha, Anambra State shortly after receiving an award of excellence for service to humanity at the inauguration of newly elected officers of Abia state Ministers Fellowship Anambra State chapter and award giving ceremony held at 3-3, Onitsha.
He unequivocally stated that no one can run governance alone, saying that it is a tedious task and advised Governor Otti to carry all the Abia state stakeholders along in order to make Abia state more great.
The human rights activist further expressed worry over the obnoxious idea of Abia state Government to rent apartment where successive Governors ran the affairs of the State since 24 years, even as he urged Otti to move out from such rented apartment and relocate to Abia state Government House in order not to replicate bad leadership style of previous administration in the state.
He recalled that his leadership as the Chairman of Abia state Indigenes Forum Anambra State chapter had been working hard politically with prayers since 2019 to ensure that Abia state could be repositioned, just as he said that their efforts have yielded fruits.
“We are happy now that there is a change of Government in Abia state. We have reached the Governor to have chat with the Abia Ministers of God and Abia Indigenes Forum but it has not been easy because of issues facing him”
“We want to have a chat with him because we have our own idea to offer in order to make Abia greater. Although he is doing well, he needs to bring other stakeholders together.
“He is marvelously doing well in Aba because it is a commercial place and he needs to generate revenue. He needed to make Aba a capital city not a glorified Local Government but he should not concentrate all the development in the area” Said Ogudike.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Abia state Ministers fellowship Anambra State chapter, Bishop Chidi Innocent equally affirmed that Governor Alex Otti is performing well, saying that if Otti could continue with such zeal, Abia would be the Japan of Africa.
He, however, advised the newly elected officers of Abia State Ministers Fellowship to maintain integrity and commitment in their new office.
Similarly, Rev. Dr. Charles Okeke of Grace Chapel Assembly and Secretary-General of Abia state Indigenes Forum Anambra State chapter, Enyinna Onyekwere lauded the award giving ceremony.
They said that the award giving ceremony would usher progress within Abia Indigenes and strengthen their unity and also attract more members in their forum.
Meanwhile, the inauguration Minister, and Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Anambra State chapter, Bishop Moses Ezedebego noted that Abia Ministers in Anambra State are blessed.
He specifically commended the presiding Bishop of Bethsaida Church 3-3, Onitsha, Bishop Chidiebere Innocent for his radical evangelism which he said fetched the Bishop aboundants of blessings from God.
He also praised the Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti for his ongoing transformation in Abia state.
Other guests Ministers of God who spoke and prayed for the newly elected officers of Abia State Ministers Fellowship included; O. C. Domnic and Bishop E. O Obiora who delivered sermon Church Service.
Some of Abia Indigenes who received the award included, Comrade Damian Ogudike, Barr. Emeka Egbo, Dr. Joseph Chibundu ( Bishop elect), Rev. Mathew Amah, Monday Johnson amongst other.
