The statement reads: “I am delighted with the news of your appointment as the CEO/GM of our dear club, Rangers International of Enugu. This heralds a new dawn for the development and organisation of football for ndi Enugu.
“We share a lot of commonality, from colleagues at the NFF to being alumni of the prestigious UEFA academy. So on behalf of everyone in our shared network, I say a big congratulations.
“I also congratulate and thank his excellency, the executive Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Mbah for giving you this humongous task of transforming our darling club into one of the top 5 clubs in Africa.
“This is a case of a square peg in a square hole and I have absolute belief that no better person has the dedication, ability, passion, resourcefulness and love required to deliver the task at hand.
“For this I congratulate Rangers International Football Club, the supporters and Ndi Enugu at large for landing a gem. I look forward to many trophy parades in the coming years.
The strategic plan 2023-2027 just released for the club on your first day in office demonstrates a clear vision for the club and preparedness on your end to deliver the task at hand. Congratulations my friend,” he said.
