Enugu State Commissioner for Land and Urban Development, Prince Lawrence Ezeh has paid a visit to Pamela Ifeyinwa Adindu, a leader of PDP Women Support Group for Peter Mbah, and a Board of Trustees member of Peter Mbah Grasssroot Movement (PGM).
Jungle Journalist reports that Adindu, who mobilised massively for the governor during campaigns, fell down during one of the campaigns and had multiple fractures.
Although she had gone for series of surgeries, the Peter Mbah Support stalwart had defied her medical condition and even with plaster cast, continued with the campaigns until victory was declared for Barrister Peter Mbah.
Over the weekend, the Commissioner, who was touched by her condition, and impressed by her performances decided to pay her a visit in her home, where she is still recovering from her injuries.
Engr Lawrence Ezeh was with his team during the visit.
Addressing the lady, Ezeh expressed regret at her health status but also praised her for her extreme sense of optimism, despite the accident.
He also informed her that the visit was another way of encouraging her, and also, to give her a sense of inclusiveness in the newly formed government.
In her response, Adindu expressed joy at the victory of Dr Mbah at the polls, and shared her happiness over the appointment of Prince Ezeh as the Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development.
She equally thanked the Commisioner and his team for the visit and pledged to continue to support the PGM family.
