Cult War Claims Three Lives In Rivers

Police in Rivers State have confirmed the killing of three suspected cultists in Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state.

The Police said the cultists died during a gun duel following a supremacy battle between the rival groups.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the killings.

He said two of the dead cultists identified as Azhinibudu Biko popularly known as Yankee and Gboka Odoi were notorious criminals terrorizing the Ahoada East and West section of the road and its environment.

A source in the community, who pleaded anonymity said that the Police intervened, as the shooting caused panic in the area.
