The immediate past Student Union Government Deputy Senate President of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Chinaza Ameh Ogbuh has been kidnapped.
According to sources, Ogbuh was kidnapped along Enugu-Nsukka road on Tuesday.
The student leader hails from Alor-Agu community in Igboeze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The source pleaded with security agencies and Enugu state government to intervene and secure the victim’s release.
This incident occurred despite several Military and Police checkpoints along the road.
At the peak of kidnapping activities along the road earlier in the year, the state government intervened by clearing bushy parts for clearer vision for commuters.
This with the assistance of security agencies helped to cutail kidnapping activities along the road.
