There is apprehension over the health status of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra as he is said to be bleeding from the nose.
A member of Kanu’s legal team identified as Mandela raised at the premises of the DSS in Abuja on Monday.
Nnamdi Kanu’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor shared tphe details in a chat with DAILY POST later on Monday.
He said: “Today, my associate, Barr Mandela met with Onyendu #MNK at the DSS. He reports that MNK directed me to make it public that he had an episode of profuse nosebleed yesterday and that the DSS has transferred a detainee diagnosed with tuberculosis to his cell block. This is ominous,” Ejimakor wrote.
Kanu has been in DSS custody since June 2022 when he was arrested and subjected to extraordinary rendition from Kenya.
