Enugu Governor-elect, Peter Mbah has promised to dualize the Abakpa-Ugwuogo-Opi Road in the first days of his administration.
Mbah in his first press conference after his declaration on Wednesday thanked the people for electing him, pledging to devote his time and life to the job of developing Enugu State.
Mbah who promised to embark on massive infrastructural development in the state said he will build mono rails to connect Enugu, Nsukka, Agwu, Oji, Udi and other towns in the state.
He also promised to construct a ring-road to connect all the 17 local government areas in the state, adding that he will address the perennial water scarcity in the state.
“I will dedicate all my life to the job of governance. We will run an all inclusive government; there will be no Nsukka or Nkanu, there will be no loser or winner. We will run a Government that will make you smile.”
The Governor-elect was particularly grateful to the governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, leaders of the state, for their efforts to make the project a success.
